School Life
BUSES
Government run bus services provide free transport for eligible students. Students who live within a 5km radius are not eligible to catch a school bus and are required to find their own transport to and from school campus in Berri.
CANTEEN
Our school leads the way in nutritious, healthy food options with affordable daily specials and seasonal menu updates. The canteen is open before school to order recess and lunch, or families and students can acess the QKR! App to order lunches before 8.00am on the day. Eftpos is available on site.
LIBRARY
The Berri Regional Secondary College in partnership with the Berri Barmera Council provides a library service at the Berri Library. We consider our library to be a place for learning, research and recreation. BRSC students have access to qualified and experienced staff who can assist with locating resources in the library or from the wide range of resources available through the statewide Public Library Network.
DAYMAP
Daymap is our online “learner management system” that we use as a school. The system enables us to monitor, track and provide for 21st century learning opportunities for all our students in a variety of ways.
Berri Regional Secondary College uses Daymap to its full advantage, including a dedicated module for parents called Parent Portal. This portal enables each of our parents/carers to actively track and monitor their child’s learning as well as tools to communicate directly with the school and their child’s teachers.
